CSU -1

too many things going in CSU's favor.

also - starting in 2000 unlv has NOT swept the wyoming/colorado state road trip - so why not hope it continues - although they have won 3 of last 4 in fort collins.

Winky,

I am about to pull the trigger on this play, but have a couple of concerns -- maybe you can help push me off the fence.

One, does CSU have an athlete that can check Blankston and keep him off the glass? CSU gave up 22 offensive boards to SDSU on Saturday and that is a huge red flag for me -- the Rebels appear to rebound better than the Aztecs.

Two, CSU has shown the propensity to turn the ball over at an alarming rate -- usually this is a problem with teams on the road, but they don't seem to take care of the ball at home either.

Finally, the Rebels are coming off a game where they cruised in the second half and CSU is coming off a double OT game where four players played at least 39 minutes.

At this point, I am either on CSU or laying off completely today -- if you (or anyone else) has any input on this one, I would love to hear it.

Kodiak – heard that game on the radio here – the last part of it. That might be one of the all-time bad beats ever. Up 60-54 and getting 5/5.5 and then UP 2 with seconds left and an 84% FT shooter at the line – and he misses – and then to get hooked in OT – amazing.

Jimmymo - those are concerns – agree. But I am impressed with how csu is playing and a few people who I know and respect LOVE csu – so that was enough to push me over to them for more than matchsticks.

Thanks Winky -- good enough for me -- I really, really like the way CSU performed earlier in the year when healthy and think they will have a huge emotional advantage in this one (which is a huge factor that I consider).

Best of luck to us.

UGHHH! It was even worse watching it! IT HAPPENS, but after a poor 4 day stretch for me, it was really a bitter ending!

CSU is still very banged up. UNLV is relatively healthy. Agree, they have a tough time on this road trip, but CSU and Wyoming are both down a bit this year. Not that the Rebels are anything special either.

Since they are my hometown boys, I'll be pulling for the Rebs, but I'll probably lay off or bet small.

Why all the hype on Blankson from UNLV? I've seen this guy play 4 times this year and I didn't think he was that good. Is it possible I saw his 4 worst games of the year. Their 2 guard (can't remember his name right now) seemed to be a better player then Blankson.

Romel Beck is the guy you are talking about. He is more of a wing than a two guard. He's a pure scorer and the Rebs best offensive threat.
